New stuff.......pay attention!

Lots of new things going on. The newest one is that I just changed over this blog to the new blogger, which will hopefully let me do some new cool things with pictures and what-not. We'll see as we go. OK now pay attentions because I'm about to throw a lot of dates and information at you.

NEXT SUNDAY
No Regular Youth Group. HOWEVER....we are going to go tubing at the Wood's House at 2pm. You are welcome to bring sleds, but they don't work awesomely well....though if you have a tube, bring it because they fly! If you need a ride, you need to let me know, other-wise I'll see you there! Directions to Wood's: Head up Jackson Run Rd. toward Sugar Grove. You're not going very far....after Mason's Mobile City you want to make a right on the next road which is Dutch Hill. Head up Dutch hill and you're looking for #22 which is on the right....the house sits up the drive way a bit. It's pretty easy to find.

Ok that's at 2pm. At 6pm next Sunday, there is a pie and chat at the church. The church is going to present some of the results of some surveys they have done. They want some feedback. Having some youth there to give a "youthy" voice would be awesome. PLUS, there's pie!!!!!!!!!!!!

We introduced the 30 Hour Famine last night. We are doing the Famine this year March 9-10. I know that some of you have a choir concert that night. Don't worry, I've thought about that already. Don't let that be a reason not to do the Famine. If you weren't there last night and are planning on doing it, let me know and I'll get you a packet ASAP. Get going! 30 dollars takes care of a child for a month! 360 takes care of one kid for one year!

We also talked about a new mission trip opportunity for this summer. July 8-13 we're headed to Steuvenville OH with Youthworks! We need to know if you're coming with us. We have to reserve slots for everyone. There is a deposit of 50 dollars. This is going to be a great trip. We'd love to have you with us. It's close to home. It's a short trip. If you are currently in 6th grade-12th grade you can go. We are also in need of some adults to come with us. So talk to mom and dad and see if they want to come! More info coming!

We talked again last night about the New Wilmington Mission Conference. This conference is July 21-28th. This is a chance for you to meet up with teenagers from all over to learn what having a "heart for missions" is all about. You get to hear from people who's whole lives are missions. There are flyers outside the main office on this conference!

Ever wonder if you can nail Jello to a wall? Here's the answer!

And finally....for those few of you who are obsessed with Thriller....I found this. An entire wedding party doing every move from Thriller. They rehearsed for a month prior to the wedding so they could do this. WEIRD
