my first week of being here at mansfield was marching band camp. for those who are doing band back at wahs, i'll say that it's a little bit more intense here. instead of about ten eight-hour days (80 hours total), we have five ten-hour days (50 hours total), to do about the same amount of work. it's still a ton of fun though. day one, i already met eleven new friends (the rest of the tuba section). we spend a lot of time together, and they're always there to help out when you need it. it's fantastic.

classes "started" monday... but the first monday is the traditional day in which there are no classes. go figure. so classes actually started on tuesday, and so far, the workload isn't that bad. i spend a good amount of my free time practicing music... something i wasn't able to do much back at home.

i'm making a lot of new friends here, but trust me, i will never forget you guys. i was playing a game of ultimate frisbee one night after band practice, and i thought, man, i wish everybody from home were here... i really do miss you guys, and i look forward to seeing you all again!

well, that's my side of the story... now let's hear it from you guys! what classes do you guys have? what teachers do you have? how many of them said they were going to "hit the ground running"? (i firmly believe that that is the most overused phrase in a high school teacher's vocabulary.)

this is awesome!!! I get to post on the blog again and this time i do not have to wait forever to do it...we have only had atlantic broadband with the fast-speed for 2 days but i like it already. Aaron, try to convince Mar to get it if you want to. It is also awesome because now if someone in my house needs to use the phone and either Brianna and I are trying to do homwork or whatever on the computer, then they can still talk at the same time as we are working. Wow!!!

I liked those "Cry" event stickers. I put mine on my notebook and hopefully more people see it.

So is this NEW YEARS REVOLUTION RETREAT is going to be an over-nighter like the Narnia? That would be cool.

Awww...that would be so cute to see Corban in day care. Does he like to play with the other kids?

That is great that you are doing that well in college so far. Is Marching Band better there or do you miss Mr. Lyle? I am enjoying it so far...and the people are really nice. I like the tubas...i think that they are one of the coolest and funniest looking instruments. What kind of classes are you taking? Well that sounds good that the work level is not bad so far...I don't mind doing schoolwork but I am just so slow at everything.
I like my classes and teachers for the most part!!! I have Mr. Etzel for the 2nd year and I love the randomness...except he assigns a lot of questions and vocab and I would not want to make him mad. Then I have Mrs. Demers again except this time of English and she is nice. I am also in my 2nd year of French with Mrs. Lyle but some of the time I have no idea what they are talking about. haha. I like history but it can get boring. Choir! Lots of fun. I am excited to take my Psychology class and then gym again. I am just worried about math this year...I did bad in pre-algebra but i was really good at algebra 1 so i wonder what algebra 2 will be like. Aaron said the same thing happened to him with math.

Well that is my story about the classes and teachers. I am glad that Jessica likes the high school so far also.

No more ultimate frisbee Steven...we are inside now...but even better is b-ball and knock-out.

Keep doing those lame dance moves and good luck to you Steven!
