Regular Rec. this week. It's suppose to be hot all week. I'll bring water.
Regulart Youth Group this coming Sunday 6:30-8. This past week I asked the question what is True, or what is Truth. We sat around and wrote down what we thought a true statement was or what truth was. We didn't really talk about it, we just wrote....so that means this week we're going to talk about what truth is. Is there such a thing?
If you love painting and didn't get your fill by doing the youth room, Burt needs some help painting Fellowship Hall this Saturday morning. It's a big room and will need some serious help.
If you missed the theatre performance thing that Lindsey, Nyssa and Emily were in, it was AWESOME! I think there's another chance to see it this Thursday, but I don't know the time....maybe someone else does?
I know it's hot summer, but would you rather be hot or cold?

I liked the topic of what "truth" is...but i don't think i got all of the right message so it should be exciting to talk about it.
Ooh! Another painting day...i liked the last one that i went to...except i am short so it is funny to see me try and reach high spots.
That performance was awesome! Everyone who was in it did a great job. The bat also made it more interesting. I encourage anyone who is interested in theatre art to try it sometime...i know i probably will!
I would rather be hot. I usually don't mind the heat and in the winter i am usually always cold so i don't think i would want to be any colder.
cold. at least then you can throw on some extra layers of clothing to keep you warm. when it's hot, there's pretty much nothin you can do about it. this week i'm helping out at birdsall edey and today's cookout day. wish me luck.

we have to cook out over campfires, and today's supposed to be hot.
mari was going to make me grill outside yesterday. luckily we ran out of town so we didn't do that......but i might have to tonight.
i'd much rather be cold. i agree with jessica, i'd rather add some layers. it's also nice to snuggle with my wife under a blanket watching a movie. you can't really do that in the heat!
problem with that though... extra layers reduce your mobility. if i'm stuck wearing three pairs of pants, four shirts, and two blankets, i'm not going anywhere that quickly. at least when it's hot, i know i can still do things... like... walk...
heat makes me tired.

jessica is making very good points.....heat makes me sleepy all the time....it drains my energy..
strangely enough, i've been more active during this heat wave than i have been during the rest of the summer. sooo... it's not slowing me down any.
i am sticking with the heat. Winter is "cool" in more ways than one though...ice skating and sled riding.
By the way...Is painting at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning?
yes it is... i think... but be there then anyway! bring all your friends, and we'll get this thing knocked off in no time at all!
